Engine Room

A much-maligned style in recent years, but one with a history that goes back centuries, to the Dampfbiers of the Black Forest of Germany, reinvigorated by Fritz Maytag of the eponymous Anchor Brewery of San Fransisco in the late 1960’s. It sits somewhere in between an ale and lager, our version hopped with both Nobel and novel hops, pays homage to its position as the archetypal craft beer, deeply rooted in tradition with an eye on innovation. It’s a beer to sip and savour or sink over a chat with some friends. A beer for everyone, for all occasions.
