Welcome to
Docks Beers

We’re a proudly independent brewery in Grimsby specialising in accessible craft beers. Our brewery and taproom are housed in a converted church, a stone’s throw from the town’s historic docks.

Docks Beers is a craft beer brewery based in an impressive converted church in Grimsby, just a stone’s throw from the town’s historic docks.

Inspired by the fortitude and hard work of dockers past and present, we try to bring these characteristics to every pint we produce. The town and its docks continue to influence the story of our beers, and we always brew with Grimsby’s heritage and future at heart.

We aim to make high-quality accessible craft beers in a range of styles; from lagers to traditional ales and more hop-forward brews.

We combine the best of traditional methods with modern brewing techniques. Hard Graft, Overtime, Knuckle Down and Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap Fish make up our core range, and we also produce experimental seasonal specials and collabs with other like-minded breweries.

As Lincolnshire’s highest rated brewery (Untappd), Grimbarians and visitors from further afield flock to our friendly taproom on King Edward Street to enjoy our craft beers, and to experience our popular brewery tours.

We are proud that our customers and our passionate team have helped us achieve a five-star rating on Tripadvisor, along with a Traveller’s Choice award. Why not check out the Church of Beer for yourself.

In 2020, we began to bring more great arts and culture to Grimsby when we opened the Docks Academy above the brewery.

This is an exciting multi purpose venue and bar which we hope will attract people from all over the UK to our gigs and events, firmly establishing the Docks brand on the national music scene.
