A lager, an American interpretation of an ancient German brewing tradition and an Icelandic football chant – a fine fusion that makes Thunderclap. Lagering the beer at minus 2 allows the water crystals to freeze resulting in a stronger but well rounded beer with a sweet, mellow finish and subtle haze. Notes of wildflower honey, herbaceous hops, and a cracker-like malt undercurrent.
