Docktoberfest 2022 has almost come to an end!
We wanted to say thank you to all of you that attended any of the dates for this year’s Docktoberfest. THANK YOU!
Countless Steins were drunk. You ate through Mockingbird’s supply of Bockwursts. And to top it off, brought the party energy to the room. We have just about recovered from the weekend (almost) and are beginning to plan our next party (Halloween).
Thank you to all the acts that performed on the different nights. You all brought out the spirit of Oktoberfest. As the saying goes “All good things must come to an end.” However, there’s always next year…
There are still a few tickets left for Sunday 2nd October, so act fast and join the party!
Bone Machine Brew Co recently welcomed our brewers to their brewery…
Back at the end of May, we had the pleasure of brewing with our friends Bone Machine based on the North Bank. The result of the work was our 6.9% West Coast IPA, Shore Leave, a libation to make you feel like a Three Day Millionaire.
This release coincided with a Tap-takeover where Bone Machine brought over several of their beers and gave people a chance to ask the brewers about how this brew came to be.
At the end of September, Jack, Rory and Mike went over to Hull to complete this collaboration with a return brew at Bone Machine. Currently, the brew is in the tanks and we’ll be able to talk more about it soon. What we can say is it’s a strong one… 7.4% to be precise, in keeping with the majority of Bone Machine’s lineup.
Until then, why not try Shore Leave for yourself, or if you have already sampled it, why not stock up on some more? Shore leave is available in 440ml cans, as well as available on tap in the taproom!

After 4 years of magnificent hard graft with us Stuart Andrews is moving on to pastures new.
He has been appointed the North East sales rep for Cask International who are a significant beer importer and distributor in Europe and the UK. This is an amazing opportunity for Stu and we cannot stand in his way of progressing and taking this region by storm.
Stu has been a brilliant jack of all trades with us; Bar Manager, Drayman, Trade Sales rep and all-around general good guy. He was one of our first hires and has since become a massive and indelible part of the Docks Beers story. We are sure that if you have spent any time at Docks Beers you will have come across Stu and been won over by his charm and ever-present smile.
So we wish to say a huge thank you to him and that we will miss him greatly. Not just his cheerful face and trojan-like work attitude, but also his dressing up in dirndles, the legendary Stu cam, and most of all his Dad jokes. We are sure you will all join us in wishing him the very best of luck in his new role.
We love you Stu!
