During 2024 Docks Beers Brewery in Grimsby will be supporting the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance charity.
The LNAA are celebrating their 30th year of operations in 2024 and have flown to over 28,500 life-saving missions across Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire. The LNAA receive NO direct government funding, so all donations are very much needed. It costs around £4000 for every emergency call they respond to.
The Docks Beers team are partaking in a variety of events throughout the year to raise money for the charity, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, collecting at their Summer live music festival – DocksFest, plus another project which remains a closely guarded secret! See our next newsletter for more details.
Please help us to keep our local air ambulance flying and saving lives!
Cleethorpes is going to be rocked by DocksFest on Saturday 6th July 2024 when legendary bands like Razorlight, Frank Turner and Feeder descend on North East Lincolnshire. So it only made sense to brew a beer for the occasion.
This thirst-quenching Helles Lager will be dropping soon in 440ml cans and on tap. Keep your eyes peeled to our socials to find out when it will be available to buy.
Will Douglas, festival founder and Director of Docks Beers says: “We’re really excited to bring DocksFest to Meridian Showground and can’t wait to share this incredible day with music lovers from near and far. It should be a real celebration of our community, culture, and the power of live music to bring people together.
We have worked hard to curate this amazing festival lineup of both renowned and emerging artists. As well as chart topping acts, I’m pleased we will get to shine a spotlight on the local music scene with the talents of Orphan Boy and Healer on the main stage, plus local musicians will be performing on the acoustic stage in the VIP area.
Tickets are selling fast – we’ve sold nearly 60% of the tickets in two months. VIP sold out back in December – within two weeks of launch. You can book your tickets below.
