The Docks Beers Update

August 2023

Grimsby Borough

DOCKS BEERS X GRIMSBY BOROUGH

Docks Beers is proud to be sponsoring Grimsby Borough Football Club this season. This week we have launched Wilderness Boys Pale Ale, which is packaged in a stunning bottle with a fab label design of three boars.

Some of the lads came in to help brew it and a bottle of the beer will be the Boro’ Player of the Match award after each game of the upcoming season. The lads are playing Barton in the FA Cup tomorrow. We wish them the best of luck.

We’ve also provided the team with pukka hoodies featuring a bespoke collab logo designed by Source 4. Check them out in the images and let us know if you would like to see us sell these bad boys?

We have a very small batch available of the Wilderness Boys beers for purchase (40 Bottles only!). Click below to get yours now. But be quick about it. These won’t hang around!

Docks Beers x Thornbridge Brewery

WE’VE BEEN BREWING…

We recently welcomed James from Thornbridge to Grimsby to brew a brand new collaboration beer which is one of our most tropical beers to date, introducing Haven…

This Hazy Pale Ale contains a smorgasbord of tropical fruit delights in the aroma, which is followed suit in the taste, Belma, Tango and Bru-1 bringing drippy Strawberry, ripe Melon, and juicy Pineapple to the party.

Clocking in at a steady 4.5%, Haven is made for those post-work drinks in the summertime weather with friends. We’re looking forward to you trying it (and us having some ourselves too!)

Haven is currently satting in our tanks, and we are aiming to have this brew available towards the end of August. Keep an eye on our socials for when this new beer will be serving on Cask and Keg from the Docks Taproom.

5th Birthday

FIFTH BIRTHDAY PARTY NEWS

It may be two months away, but we are already planning our fifth birthday celebrations…

We can’t say much now (we don’t want to spoil it) but on Saturday 7th October, expect live music, new beer, and a free party not to be missed!

Expect a surprise brew which we’ve been working on. We’re not saying any more other than… no birthday is complete without cake.

DOCK HANDS

DOUBLE TROUBLE!

We have not one, but two new beers available now on draught!

Shutdown is a Pale Ale, which features a soft wheat body, overlayed with some of our favourite American hops (Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe), bringing citrus, mango and passion fruit flavours with some subtle pine. This new release will be received well by those who miss Hard Graft.

In case you missed it, we recently released Dock Hands, a hazy IPA which features Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe hops. This beer has been saturated with juicy mango and tropical fruit flavours, plus a suggestion of bitterness for ultimate satisfaction, coupled with an unbelievably soft mouth feel. This is Hop Juice, Docks style.

Dock Hands and Shutdown are now available on Tap at the Church!.

That’s it for now, but make sure you follow @docksbeers on socials for all the latest brewery news!
