We’re uber excited to announce that our Docktoberfest celebrations this year will take place over four consecutive weekends… culminating in our second birthday weekend from 9th to 11th October.
The Academy will once again be open for group bookings (maximum of six people), while we’ll also have tables available in the taproom, brewing area and outside.
Obviously Covid-19 and the new ‘rule of six’ is going to limit what we can do this year, but we’ll be having as much socially distanced fun as we can in the current climate. Unfortunately, there won’t be any singing or dancing on the tables this year.
To kick off the month-long event, we’re launching 'Docktoberbier', our first ever Hefeweizen. For those who don’t know, this is a traditional Bavarian beer made from predominantly wheat and barley. Come down to the Church on Friday 18th to try it once the first keg has been tapped.
Along with our new Hefeweizen, we will also have a whole host of Oktoberfest themed guest beers on tap and some of the best street food vendors – including SausageBox International on the final weekend of Docktoberfest. See who's coming to the Church.
Docktoberfest starts this Friday and will run through to Sunday 11th October. Stay tuned for more information about our birthday weekend soon!
