Our latest beer, New Day, is now available in cans and pouring on tap in the Docks Beers Taproom.
New Day is a 6% American IPA, brewed with a single Maris Otter base and loaded with US hops for a firm bitterness alongside plenty of citrus and pine.
The artwork also marks an exciting new chapter for Docks Beers. Look closely and you’ll spot our church alongside the outline of the new Warehouse, with two figures heading towards it as the sun rises behind them.
You can try New Day fresh from the taps in the Taproom or pick up 440ml cans to take home from our brewery shop and online.
There’s a new cider at Docks!
Our Apple & Pear Cider is now available in bottles, joining our Mango Cider – and both have been given a fresh new look.
At 5.2% ABV, Apple & Pear is a sweet, fruited cider combining crisp apple with juicy pear for a refreshing, easy-drinking pint with a balanced finish.
Our 4% Mango Cider is still packed with juicy mango flavour, but you’ll now find it sporting the updated Docks cider branding too.
Both are available from the Taproom and brewery shop, and we’ve also updated our cider gift boxes so you can choose Mango, Apple & Pear, or a mix of the two.
We’ve got live music throughout November, with something happening almost every Saturday.
Saturday 7 November – Nursey
Nursey joins us for a free afternoon acoustic session from 2:30pm.
Saturday 14 November – Captivated Taproom Sessions
Captivated returns for another free evening of live music from 5pm–11pm. This month’s guests are 82 Gloves, Antone, Ben Harper and Matt Butler, alongside residents Guy Johnson and Melmac.
Saturday 21 November – Goodnight Moon / Acoustic 80s
Two acoustic sets take over the Taproom from 2:30pm, with Goodnight Moon and Acoustic 80s making their Docks debut.
Saturday 28 November – Frankie Freeman
We round off November’s Saturday sessions with Frankie Freeman from 2:30pm. The 19-year-old Leeds Conservatoire singer-songwriter has already received support from BBC Introducing and performed at events including Latitude Festival.
All of our November Taproom live music is free entry.
It’s not just live music keeping us busy this month.
Our Docks Open Mic Night returns on Thursday 12 November, hosted by Chris Lynch. Sign-ups start at 6:30pm, with performances from 7pm. Music, comedy, spoken word and poetry are all welcome, so come along to perform or simply grab a pint and watch.
Then on Friday 13 November, it’s time for another Docks Karaoke Club. DJ Steve Rusling will be behind the decks, starting with 80s rock before handing the microphone over for karaoke from 7pm. It’s free entry, with table booking recommended.
Later in the month, Docks Creative gets festive on Wednesday 25 November with our Christmas Decoupage Workshop. Join Nicola Maasdam from 6pm–8pm and create your own wooden Christmas tree ornaments and Christmas logs. Tickets are £6 per person, with all materials included.
Christmas officially arrives at Docks on Sunday 22 November with the Docks Christmas Market!
From 11am–4pm, we’ll be welcoming a selection of independent sellers and makers for a day of Christmas shopping at the brewery and upstairs.
It’s a great opportunity to pick up something a little different for Christmas, support independent businesses and, of course, enjoy a pint while you browse.
