The pour you’ve been waiting for!
At Docks Beers, we’ve been working on something that honours the tradition of the classic stout while keeping it firmly rooted in our Grimsby grit.
Say hello to Split The D. Built on a sturdy foundation of British barley, wheat, and oats, Split The D is engineered for texture. We’ve layered in chocolate malt and roasted barley to bring out those heavy-hitting dark-chocolate notes, with an incredibly smooth mouthfeel from the first sip to the last.
The name isn’t just for show. Whether you’re a seasoned pro at the “Split the G” challenge or you just appreciate a perfectly poured pint, we want to see you try it. Split The D is officially pouring at the Docks Beers taproom.
To accompany the launch of Split The D, we’re running an offer in the taproom this March: a pint of our new nitro stout and single patty burger for £9.
And Docks Kitchen is now open even longer! We now open 4pm to 7.30pm on a Thursday, as well as Fridays and Saturdays, serving food from 1pm to 8pm.
We have lots of great events coming to Docks this Easter!
On Thursday 2 April, we welcome the legendary EMF to Docks Academy.
The following night, Good Friday (3 April), local band The Moggies bring the hits of the 60s to life to raise vital funds for Jerry Green Dog Rescue.
On Saturday 4 April, our taproom goes back in time as we host an 80s disco — free entry, with prizes for the best dressed.
Finally, on Sunday 5 April, we welcome the return of Big Dan’s Boozy Bingo for a night of bingo, banter and prizes.
