Once holders of the ‘best sausages in the UK’ title four times in a row, Pettits Lincolnshire Sausages are back.

John Pettit and Sons Family Butchers served the town for over 125 years and the sausage is synonymous with the town of Grimsby.

Christened ‘Lincolnshire Sixes’, the new sausage is one that fans will recognise as unmistakably Pettits. The recipe is closely based on the original that has not changed since 1810. They are still made the old-fashioned way, using prime free range pork cuts alongside Pettits own secret blend of herbs and spices.

We use Puffin insulated packaging pouches with ice packs for shipping sausages. Made using 100% pure sheep’s wool, these insulated pouches are extremely effective at keeping produce at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. All our pouches are made with 100% compostable wool, they even release valuable nitrates back into the soil. This means you can safely recycle the polyethylene outer, reuse or compost your wool, then sit back and rejoice!
